Osano is the only privacy platform with a “No Fines, No Penalties” Guarantee. If a regulator fines you because of our platform, we’ll cover it, up to $500,000, under the terms of our Terms of Service.

What to Know About the Guarantee
We don’t sell you a product and walk away. The Osano Guarantee is part of our contract with you. Here’s what it takes to stay covered.
Sales-Led Plans Only
The Guarantee covers paying customers with enterprise-level accounts, as defined in our Terms of Service, who are current on their invoices and have implemented every Osano product they’ve purchased per our documentation. Free and self-serve accounts aren’t covered.
Tied to Your Plan
We cover the lesser of five times the fees you paid Osano in the prior 12 months or $500,000. Any payout is offset by your own insurance, so you’ll file with your insurer first.
Regulatory Fines Only
The Guarantee covers final fines and penalties issued by a government regulator that are directly caused by the Osano Platform. It doesn’t cover private lawsuits, settlements, or legal fees.
No Unapproved Changes
Configure Osano products as our documentation describes. Changes we haven’t approved, like editing banner text, resizing buttons, or hiding dialogs for some visitors, or anything that could be seen as a dark pattern, void the Guarantee.
Tell Us Within 24 Hours
If a regulator contacts you about a concern involving the Osano Platform, email legal@osano.com within 24 hours and work with us to resolve it. Got a sweep letter? Our privacy team will help you read it as part of Audit Defense.
Apply Updates Promptly
When we notify you about an update or feature release, implement it right away to stay covered.
No Past Incidents
The Guarantee doesn’t apply to anything that happened before you were a paying, fully implemented Osano customer.
