We only cover paying customers on our Premier plan or Platform Editions in good standing and who have implemented all Osano products according to our documentation and any updates to the Osano platform. If you're using Osano for free, we won’t pay your fines or penalties.
Although you can configure Osano products per our documentation, if you make changes that we haven’t approved (changing the text, changing button size, hiding dialogs for certain visitors) or otherwise engage in any kind of changes that might be considered “dark patterns,” you’re on your own.
If you're contacted by a Data Protection Authority about a concern that involves the Osano platform, you must notify us right away and work with us to help resolve the issue ASAP.
When we notify you about an update, you need to implement it immediately.
It should probably go without saying, but just in case: If you get in trouble with a DPA for something that happened before you were a paying, fully implemented customer of Osano, then the Pledge doesn't apply.
