Catherine Dawson — General Counsel and CPO

Catherine is the General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer at Osano. She has an extensive background representing technology companies on various privacy-related matters.

Prior to joining Osano, Catherine was Chief Legal Officer of Spiceworks, Inc., a technology company and was an attorney with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. She received her JD from NYU School of Law and holds the CIPP/US certification.

Rachel Ehlers — Special Counsel, Baker Botts

Rachel Ehlers is a privacy and cybersecurity attorney at Baker Botts, LLP in Austin. She has extensive experience advising clients on data incidents and breach response, cross-border transfers, and data privacy and cybersecurity issues related to mergers and acquisitions. 

Throughout her early career, Rachel served in multiple in-house legal and compliance roles, including Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Privacy Officer. She has lived and worked overseas throughout Europe, Asia, and South America and has provided guidance and training to multi-national companies globally. She also served as a foreign service officer with the U.S. Department of State, where she did tours in China and Venezuela.
